Brochure Printing

Brochure Printing. There are many names given to bound documents, brochure or leaflet printing and we can digitally print them all! Most digital print companies are restricted in the sheet size they can produce. Our new award winning Xerox Iridesse digital production press allows us to digitally print a sheet up to 1200mm in length while our Xerox iGen allows us to produce a maximum brochure printing sheet size of 360mm x 660mm, this enables us to digitally print A4 landscape brochures and A4 pocket folders.

Our Xerox production presses are ideal for digitally printing the following documents:

Binding Techniques

We bind our digitally printed material in different ways – Saddle Stitch, Perfect bound (PUR) and wiro bound.

Saddle Stitch

Saddle stitch is our most popular type of binding. It is the least expensive with the fastest turn around time. It is simply a wire staple inserted into the spine of your document holding the cover and the inside pages together. This binding method is used for lots of different digitally printed book types such as programmes, product guides and calendars. Saddle stitched digitally printed documents must be created in four pages multiples.

Wiro Bound

Wiro bound digitally printed documents open completely flat on a table and therefore are ideal for presentation style documents, manuals and recipe books. Holes are punched in the cover and the inside pages where a ‘C’ shaped wire spine is inserted and squeezed closed.

PUR Binding

PUR Binding is a form of Perfect binding and is generally used for thicker digitally printed reports, annuals and manuals. The pages and cover of your digital print document are bound together at the spine using an adhesive – Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) which is the most durable book binding glue available. This binding technique is ideal for producing short print runs cost effectively. Only print what you need and we can produce more if and when required.

The minimum and maximum number of pages suitable for the different binding methods depends on the paper weight/thickness.

Choose to laminate the covers of your brochure to enhance colours and imagery as well as adding durability. Lamination can be done in either a gloss or matt effect. A matt effect will give a subtle finish to your brochure with a soft feel to the touch while a gloss effect will give your a high shine photographic finish.

Alternatively we can case bind your digitally printed brochure or book. This is ideal for commemorative books.
